This is not specific advice about LSI or what your friend should do. A general comment, however: Options are very risky and should only be bought with a small part of one's risk capital. I would only use about 5% of risk capital to buy options. They should not be bought for "income".

I don't think we have any employees of LSI on this board......at least not openly so. Maybe a lurker is out there who will surface to answer your question.

I imagine that stock options must be very attractive right now. If his vesting period is 3 to 4 years I would hope he will do very well. Shoot, tell him to work his tail off for LSI and make it so.

Please tell him our incomes depend on him, too!
