Considering Starr is a prosecutor, the conflict of interest would have been evident if Starr had eased up on Clinton. His job is to go after the truth zealously. I don't know of any prosecutor, save for Alex Hunter in Boulder, Colorado, who kept his job as an elected DA by not being zealous.
