I think if there is anything else against the President himself directly, and possibly against Hillary, which has strong evidence behind it, Clinton will be history. Pronto.

I think it is very likely that Whitewater, Filegate and Travelgate have not turned anything up against Clinton which is credible.

However, if Starr's evidence is strained and remote, you're right, his credibility will come into play. Certainly we all know that Starr will cast about for any worst possible interpretation against Clinton of anything he finds.

Starr apparently has more credibility than Clinton now by more than 2 to 1. Speaking of credibility, the main reason Clinton and the Democrats haven't been able to pass their agendas is that a large part of the populace don't trust them to manage financial programs. All of the major financial boondoggles of the federal government are Democrat initiatives: Social Security, Welfare, Medicare/Medicaid, Public Housing, etc. Public Education and the VA Hospital System could probably be added to the list.
