The Prosorba columns can't be reused. They are used with plasmapheresis machines. They plan to put plasmapheresis machines in the offices of rheumatologists.

Think of it as a disposable filter, through which the patient's blood ... actually the patient's blood plasma ... periodically is run on an outpatient or in-office procedure.
