Ken, most sure way to go fishing, and how to profit from it:

1. Start draining the pond.

2. When the pond is almost empty, just scoop the fish off of the bottom.

3. Start re-filling the pond. This is so that other fishermen won't get the fish that are left.

4. You can't possibly eat all those fish. Sell them to the other fishermen that are angry that they weren't there to scoop them off of the bottom. The will buy them from you, and claim that they scooped the off of the bottom.

5. Repeat as necessary.

Oh, yea, while the pond was almost dry, you got a good look at how many fish were left, and probably have a good idea of how many times you can get away with this.

You now know how to be a market-maker! :)

While I generally don't like to blame market-makers, I do have to say that today's sorry action in ESVS does look like stop-running. The quote was just dropped and dropped, until that single 16,400 block was hit at 1/2. I'll bet it was sold just a few minutes later on the way back up, along with other shares acquired cheaply.

I do NOT beleive that MMs like to keep inventory over-night, so I DON'T think that they were "loading the boat" for some news release, as I'm SURE will be alleged on the Yahoo Psychic Network! LOL! Naw, I think they dumped their cheap shares on the way back up, and at the offer to boot.

ESVS needs to work on getting some market-makers who will support the stock, and get more MMs, which would reduce the horrible spread. The action today demonstrated that ESVS has little liquidity and, as such, if you are a long-term holder, you probably need to hold this stock without a stop, as scarey as that might be.
