Sam,

Amen. I was just going to write exactly what you have down. Just because there is an undersupply of mobilee drives, or even a sector of mobil drives, doen't mean that the glut in desktop units of varying capacities doesn't exist. There is still a huge piece of the market that is in a glut situation, and I don't hink that it will clear up until Q4. Even then, there still may be an oversupply in certain capacities...its all up to the planners and their forecasting ability. If they screw-up or everybody builds at the same capacity points, you have a glut.... Good idea about stealing Wal-Mart employees...

Scott.

Sam;

Very good response. However, we are not getting that kind of breakdown from CNBC. Also, we don't know what Seagate's inventory problems are at the moment (they may not even know). We do know that they have had them during the last year and that they acknowledge that some of it was just poor management. My real point is how does this affect their bottom line for the current quarter? We'll have to wait and see. Inconsistent news blurbs are no way to make a judgement.
