Jim, the 700 meters drill depth is comparable to the big Aldebaran deposit with the 20 million ounces of reserves.(Note the Aldebaran deposit is about 3 miles high in the Andes and the grams Au/tons is way less than 1g/ton making the economics of it questionable-also no water.) I believe they drilled down to 1000 meters with that deposit.
A "placer deposit" is generally 30 or 40 feet thick at most-you generally don't diamond drill those.
