Announcing Wednesday Morning means the company is confident with their release. Otherwise, a negative release is best announced Friday after the market closes. This gives investors the weekend to calm down and think through their position. But, if they announce Wednesday AM, that is usually an indicator that TAVA feels that we will like the news. Lunch-time conference allows them to reach a larger audience during the trading day. So for that Wednesday, we may be looking at a positive early release, followed by a stimulating conference call. Many who held from last year made a lot of money on TAVA over the summer. The price is at a level were it is very attractive, though the companies story is better than last year and less speculative (relative to last year.) From last year till now we have read many announcements of pilots and recently pilots rolling out to full contracts. In addition, TAVA has held on to a strategy where they have continued to emphasize their core business and how Y2K is benefitting and stimulating their growth over the long-term. If I bought this company last year at these prices under an ambiguous financial structure and purely as a story stock, today is the company more attractive? I would have to say yes. No doubt we will see speculative money coming in before earnings, but over the next few months I believe their is room for a good upside. Besides the companies fundamentals, I believe the street will begin to ask: what Y2K companies will be around after the Y2K event?, And particularly: what Y2K companies have benefitted in the long-run from this short-term event. Very few have a story like TAVA.
