Do these boards have an effect on a stock? It depends on the perceived credibility of the poster, and the perceived likelihood of the poster's message, and the state of the stock price, and the following of the board. FMK has credibility, his message was verifiable, the stock price doesn't fully reflect the potential of the stock, and the board has sufficient following of people with capital. So it's possible that FMK was the catalyst for today's rally. Can he do it tomorrow? Only if he can find more credible news.
