Steve,

Per my system its the following day that has the greatest potential of decline. Statistically the buy-in day is normally flat or slightly down at the close. Its the following day which is normally the strong movement day.

edit: The buy-in day normally just signifies the short-term top. As long as the market closes flat (DOJI OR SPINNING TOP/ PLUS or MINUS 30-50 DOW POINTS), the pullback has been signaled. What would void the signal is normally a close of 100-150 UP POINTS.
