I received a brochure in the mail today from Telescan (developer of Prosearch) regarding new software/service they are offering for daytraders, CATS (Continuous Alerts Telescan Service), which apparently gives real-time intra-day stock screens based on various technical and non-technical indicators such s moving average breakouts, heavy volume, trading gaps, moving average and stochastic breakouts , and a lot more.

The stuff apparently is offered through September 30 to Telescan customers for $500 license fee plus $75 per month usage. I find Telescan seems to have an uncanny way of getting one to subscribe to things and incur high ongoing costs. This may be like that, too, but if it's good enough it may be worth something. Would love to get some opinions from others on this thread.

Did anyone else get this recently, think the service is of value, know anything more about it? Does anyone know of anything similar but even better, for daytrading?

Thanks,

Bill
