55..60..160...Margin

Dont play on the edge because you can fall off and do a lot of damage..THERE IS A LOT OF RISK AND THE REWARDS ARE A LITTLE SHAKEY..
I think we will trade in the mid 50s to low 60s for a while..until things look brighter in the market as a whole..Dell will move up better closer to earnings but now we will be up and down..Why pay margin interest when we are stuck in this range plus the worries of the world..Whats wrong with owning what you have........Money lost on the shares you sold is gone and thats ok...You have go over the bumps in the road in order to get to the freeway...The lesson that I have learn is....The market loves to rip me off..I am learning to buy when the panicers are selling and sell when the others think thing are beautiful...I trade Dell a lot but the best strategy is to buy and hold...Margin makes that hard to do when we are going through this crap

Freeus....I was a bit surprised to see the Market close higher today after the Greenspan disappointment, not even hinting at a rate cut, in fact I think he stated no rate cut was necessary....I'm not sure the Market will see it that way over the next few weeks, as more and more companies pre-announce earnings warnings and cite foreign exposure as the reason....I've heard several times recently, and again just moments ago, that an upward move in the indexes is to be expected after the serious "correction" we've experienced in recent weeks..He stated, as have others, after a large drop it is not uncommon for the Market to re-trace some of it's losses, before one last test of the lows--This analyst didn't say "when" this retest of the lows would come, but that he felt there would be a re-test... I've heard others suggest as late as October, if not sooner.

I still think you will be able to buy in the mid-50's ONE MORE TIME...and I hope I'm right...I'll bet if you and I and a whole bunch of other people take advantage of that buying opportunity it will possibly be the last one in the 50's however.

Best to you, George
