Thanks. At last an answer from somebody on this. Presumably then, software intended for these servers would do things like mask the database and html complexities in the course of assembling pages, and also do things like distribute complex calculations among parallel processors, make the equivalent of .asp or .cf or have java outputs. Tools would help you write software to do those things. So, is Inprise competitive in this field? Is anyone marketing a server (hardware/software bundle) set up to do the middle portion specifically? And would any of that let me do anything better than what I have been cobbling together on my own? Cheers, Chaz
