Who gives a #%*&! about Paine Webber Seattle. If this is the best catalyst short sellers can come up with you shorts are in trouble. There is not a brokerage office in Seattle with the fire power to make or break a company. Remember you are shorting/buying a company, not a stock. GNET owns properties that have real value, their one million unique users per day have real value. Sure GNET is no YHOO yet, sure YHOO has a better brand name right now, however YHOO is worth 8.7 Billion. GNET's management team is worth betting on. They have made synergistic acquisitions and have positioned the company perfectly for the future. The fact that we are all speaking to each other on SI shows the value of this community. I am using this weakness in the stock to accumulate a significant position. Look for substantial events in the next few months.

We shall see who wins in the long run. I never said GNET was better than YHOO. But they can compete. GNET has better growth potential (given it's current price) compared to YHOO. GNET will also benefit greatly with higher bandwith. Yahoo will have to make some big changes.

I like GNET for the long term. You might be playing the internet for the short ride. Good Luck.
