The market in the Far East are running at 30 - 40% below capacity.
Everyone is cautious. Lot of currency pressure on the pricing.
The underlying demand is there. Order cycle is extremely short.
It is not that I am very bearish on ESIO. I am very bearish on
ESIO stock price. I look at companies like BRKS, SVGI, LRCX, CYMI,
etc...all are trading at 10 or below. ESIO probalbly will have sales
of around 43 - 44 millions...not sure what margins will be like.
Depend on whatever cost cuttings they have implemented. I am bearish
on their Vision market especially with AISI whose only 2 major customers are in the tank ( KLIC and Universal ). I am planning on
making a lot of money when this down cycle play itself out. Sold
most of my shares at 17. Looking to start purchasing them back at 14 on down.

Later.

Vinh

"...chairman and founder of Vishay Intertechnology. Dr. Zandman believes there is a slump, but notes Vishay's businesses are doing well."

I'd hate to see how VSH's stock would be doing if biz was bad! Way long and way under water on it. The better the story and the more I buy the more it goes down...

Thanks for the post, Mark.
