re: your CSCO comments on the BK thread

1. It corrected 40% during Spring 1997 (and over 50% in 1994).
2. PE is lower than MSFT, not higher. Trailing 12 month EPS for both is ~1.75 (pre-split), and stocks are at 108 (MSFT), ~100 (CSCO). CSCO has a similiar PE to Soft because it is also a software monopoly.

Note that I'm not arguing CSCO can't go down. Networking slowdown due to Y2K- or BK-induced recession would kill this high-PE stock.
