Dan the only problem I have with these verses is the word Jesus which the translators like you thought the word Christ meant Jesus which was no more true then than it is today. Christ crucified is also not what you conceive it to be. Christ crucified was the God spirit coming into matter to evolve it. Nothing at all with the hanging on wood of a human body. Christ is a spirit or mind of God. Christ is not Jesus or any other human. It is the part of God in all mankind. That is the crime of dogma; teaching Spiritual matters as historical fact.
