Scott, you don't go from "We think we can make 1.2M V2 units this quarter" to "We are losing money" in two weeks. Maybe the analyst I talked to lied to me, but given that Chip and Jeff got the same load of crap I doubt it. There's no way they can do this. Have you ever been in on an analyst-only conference call? How do you think the analysts get their guidance numbers? Let me tell you about a little experience I had with Altera. The company knew they were not going to make earnings so they set up a conference call with analysts. They unloaded the news to them first and then made a press release a couple of days later to the general public. It happens all the time, but you never know about it because you are generally the one getting screwed. Pat
