Jim,

David Reese reinforced what Bill stated last night, the game is now quite different, we will expand the Dallas region to include other cable operators and simultaneously work on an national rollout. The overall network will have much more content that sports. IMHO, we would all be wise to load up the truck.

>>did David Reese on the conference call just say
that ACTV would be marketing pay per view games/events nationally in the
near future? This presumably would generate some revenues, but more
importantly would get the ACTV brand out to the public even before a roll
out in a particular region.<<

***********

I hesitate to attempt an interpretation of Mr. Reese's comments.

My best recollection is that he said that the deal with Liberty, the relationship with Fox Sports, and the demo done this week in NYC, all show the potential that the ACTV product can be marketed with that in mind in that it has that capability, even international.

I recall that there was some discussion of having the ACTV technology out there with the digital cable guys (and their subscribers) to be seen and used (perhaps as a trial period, I'm very unsure of this point).

I am sure Mr. Reese or Dan Mahoney would be happy to clarify this point for you, certainly better than I have done.

I sincerely hope I haven't muddied the waters,

Ed
