". . . and there was no one left to speak for me " might also be fruitfully reframed as . . . and there was no one left to hear me

Although you have said your piece, unfortunately you have not addressed any of the issues that I have raised, nor have you assisted in exploring them further. Since you've failed to address the one's already on the table, I see no point in addressing new ones to you, except that someone else might read them and actually engage in an on topic conversation.

However, you now introduce a new one of your own.
So, let's give it one more try.
You say: "I question the value of discussion controlled to the point that it seems you would control it.

Question 1: Please specifically state what control you believe I am advocating.

Question 2: Please state exactly how this will reduce the value of discussion.

I see you have toned down your level of rhetoric against me, since you see that we share at least one common value. That is nice, thank you. But what I'm interested in at SI, are people that share my highest value stated in my previous posts that you have not responded to. Otherwise, its just a mutual admiration society and very boring. I want my ideas challenged not my motives or adherence to some orthodoxy. It is only through that process that anyone one of us can be truly heard.
