what is REAL good about baseball right now is the giants !! <g> 4 1/2 back, and 11 games (so or) to go....hope the cubs win the wildcard, but i could live with the mets, if necessary....i just acquired 4 extra tickets to raider game this week, with access to the club house...i love hob-nobbing with the rich and famous <g> oh, the tickets were free (to me)...such is life go raiders go tmmi go, clinton hahahahahahahaha jp

Brad, we're fortunate that two quality guys are fighting it out for the home run title instead of some of those jerky jocks in the majors. Most teams have a few good guys but the jerks seem to grab most of the headlines. Not this time, thank goodness. San Diego has Tony Gwynn, not a home run hitter, but a world class gentleman and not a bad hitter either. Greg Vaughn, much malaigned before he came to San Diego, seems to be a decent sort too. Unfortunately the record setting paces of McGwire and Sosa have overshadowed his 49 homers. Arnie
