Joe: maximum pan point is calculated as:

1. Plot the histogram of the various open interests in the Calls.
2. Take the median of the distribution

=> the median is the max pain point. Of course, you are ignoring the put volume here. That becomes more complex...

$31 is 100 DMA and appears to be causing consolidation/resistance which is reasonable given COM$ recent runnup from $25. I think if we take out $31-32 the s-t trend will be to test $38 on a solid earnings announcement. It may take out $32 this week, it may not, but earnings should kick it into mid thirties next week, if they beat street as expected. $38 looks like next major resistance area from looking at the charts. Volume is looking sweet for the last week, but as usual need the market to cooperate. Coms up +1.44% Naz +0.70%, still leading, barely.
