Unconvincing and insufficient. A choice had to be, was going to be, and was made. We are often confronting with poor choices. They still are made. To contribute only by default is not admirable.

Now if there was some family emergency on election day or something that would be different.

I do not find your explanation the least bit admirable. I find it a bit infantile.

You obviously should have voted for Bush, given your apparent views, but you were sore, and acted in an infantile way. I don't respect that.

Is it forgivable? Sure. But you don't seem to grant much of that to others. Which makes me not much interested in granting it to you.

Doug

Les, there is absolutely no rational reason not to vote, absolutely none. Remember the most important people to you,and your family is not the president, but your local officials. From state congressman, down to local representative, those are the people who can directly impact your life.
