Why do you keep insisting that shorts "drive the price down"?

This is simply incorrect and demonstrates your complete lack of understanding of market dynamics.

Biotime fell in price because its fundamentals were (and continue to be) lousy.

I always laugh when some stock tout starts harping about how the "shorts are getting killed" or the "shorts are running scared" when a bogus stock bounces from 5 to 10 a share. What they conveniently neglect to mention is that the shorts were panning the company when it was trading at 30.

I sincerely hope you are intelligent enough to use this short term lift in the price to recover some of your losses and preserve your capital. It isn't going to last.
