Women demand own sex drug
Irish Independent, September 17 1998

WOMEN in Britain want their own version of the
anti-impotence drug Viagra so they can spice up
their sex lives, a survey revealed yesterday, writes
Susan Doyle.

Despite fears by GPs that men will misuse the drug
as a ''performance enhancer'' rather than a cure for
impotence, women say the main reason they want it
is to improve their sex lives.

One in three said they wanted a female version of
the drug and one in 10 would even take their
partner's Viagra to pep up their sex life.

The woman's weekly magazine Take A Break
reveals in a survey of 500 women that one in three
are dissatisfied with their sex lives.
