Makes perfect sense. He lied because he didn't think evidence would come out. He only admitted it after he was blatantly caught in his lies. What else could he do??

You just don't get it. This has nothing to do with sex, being prude, affairs, opinion polls, or adultery. The simple fact is that he committed perjury and no rationalizing is going to change that fact. Perjury is an extremely serious crime. The fact that he perjured himself over such a stupid topic is completely irrelevant. Perjury is perjury. Watch and see how the system works. The office of the President will be preserved and Clinton will go through impeachment hearings. If you don't understand this then you are in a serious state of denial. Unfortunately, Clinton's behavior (the perjury not the sex) has given Congress little choice.
