August and September have just been the warm-up's for the main event. Enjoy these last few days of summer and our little upward correction. The fall will bring just that. October 1998 will be one of the most memorable months in stock market history--those who have prepared for the bear market will begin reaping some truly remarkable returns. The market has been floating upward because there has been no new bad news, but not because there has been any good news. That's exactly what it takes to set the market up for a huge disappointment. In the few weeks, it will become obvious that Clinton will not last as President-- regardless of his intentions. Remember it's "Sex, lies, and Videotape." and we still have the video to review. Continued weakness in earnings as they come out in October and the Clinton embarrassment will set the stage for a some rapid drops of the the DOW back to 7200 and then to 6500. All this in October. Happy Halloween...

LT--

:-0

now, it makes me wonder who would have been buying so much into the close yesterday. see, that just doesn't make sense to me. nothing happened overnight except that people had time to digest the information. so, instead of the euphoric buying yesterday, we have panic selling this morning. how about some zen training for all the nuts out there. human psyche is just unbelievably strange.

the rest of today and tomorrow is just going to be weird. option expiration on top of all this mess--no clear signal either way.

good luck to all.

anyone with intriguing plays--holler. :-)
