Stash, yes, I am very familiar with Juniper. Of course Juniper has a chance, to be a niche player, that is. Do they have chance to be the next CSCO, or LU, or NT? That's not too likely. These companies are filling out complete soup-to-nuts voice and data networking product lines. Each is, or will soon be, $10B+ companies. Juniper probably hasn't generated $1M in revenue yet.

Their terabit routing technology seems to be ahead of other start-ups, and CSCO too. But it has little application except deep in the Internet backbone. This will still be a big market, but I would never bet against CSCO, which has 90% of the router market. They literally own the market, top to bottom, and they don't give ground easily.
