Galacticomm IPO delayed -
underwriter

NEW YORK, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Software development
company Galacticomm Technologies Inc., which was set to go public Wednesday in the first U.S.
IPO in more than two weeks, has delayed the offering because of market conditions.

Underwriter Security Capital Trading Corp., told Reuters Wednesday the deal's status would be
determined on a day-to-day basis. The underwriter said it still expected the stock to be taken public
before the end of the month.

Galacticomm, a software development company, had planned to sell 1.8 million units at $6.10 each.
Analysts had said the Galacticomm IPO was not big enough to turn around the sleepy IPO market.
The offering was expected to raise about $10 million - a relatively small amount of money by Wall
Street standards.

Galacticomm had planned to go public two weeks ago, but delayed the deal the day after the Dow
Jones Industrial Average experienced its second-worst drop in its history.
