WFR - Still have plenty of time...

"MEMC Electronics Materials said it expects to report a wider-than-expected loss for its third quarter. Analysts surveyed by First Call were already expecting the troubled company to lose $1.03 a share.
The semiconductor silicon wafer manufacturer (WFR) said it's been hurt by worldwide industry problems, including overcapacity, Asian economic woes and price declines. The company said it will shut down plants in its third and fourth quarters to help save money on top of its previously announced restructuring program. MEMC said third-quarter sales will likely be $160 million to $165 million, vs. $260 million in 1997's third quarter."
