One announcement that was made, which I forgot to mention earlier...is that Ira will be on a major NYC Radio Show tomorrow, discussing HVAR. I will try to find out the station and the time. Jon

George Hamilton will be on Letterman in a few minutes. Though I do not think he was at the HVAR smokeout, I do understand that he is one of our spokespersons. Jon

Jonathan: Missed meeting you at the smokeout, but I did get to meet Rob and Ira. I found Ira to be a gracious host for the affair, as well as very approachable and friendly. The party was just winding down when I arrived, about 9:30pm, but I did get to spend about 10 minutes talking to Ira. He is very upbeat about the prospects for HVAR, and we did spend a little time rehashing past history of Firamada. The prospectus Havana Republic had at the smokeout was very professional, and very informative, I was sorry that I missed out on Steve and Alex's presentation. There were still some brokers as well as other investors about when we (took the wife) left at 9:55. Ira gave me a handful of cigars, I will report back on my own little smokeout when I get a hour or so to myself to indulge. Laz
