Let's revive the Bullmoose Party.
I think Adlai was how he spelt his name.

Adlai Stevenson was from Bloomington, Illinois and was a good ambassador to the UN. However when he ran for president he never carried his home town. Bloomington used to be a little Republican. I drive on a street about 100 feet from his grave daily. Never seen it though. Should drive through the cemetary and see it sometime. LBJ did but nobody turned out for him.

Distant cousin of his, McLean Stevenson [of MASH TV fame] is from Bloomington also and was much better liked.
