Jim,

What browser are you using? I'm running Netscape Gold 3.0 (what many still call the "gold" standard) on Win95.

Thanks,

Marty

I use IE 4.0 with a cable modem and the site comes up with the blink of an eye. There's nothing like downloading at 512K.

Greetings Jim. I must agree with you when you say "it also depends on your local traffic as well.so it might not be CCI's fault for the slowness". Many times throughout any given day a local Internet Service Provider's (ISP) servers many become bogged down with heavy usage (large numbers of users on at the same time) and that will slow the response time down dramatically for everyone being served by that ISP. Another thing that will cause slow downs is if there is a lot of link noise on the phone lines.

So Jim as you say in a lot of cases it most likely is not the fault of CCI, rather some external forces at play.

Regards,

Bill Fortune III
