Many people go bankrupt and lose everything while spending years trying to get a case settled in court.

Just yesterday, I spoke to an old supplier of mine who had gotten stiffed for $103,000 by a large company owned still by an even larger company. He had already spent $100,000 in attornies costs trying to recover the $103,000, when he was offered a settlement of $40,000 and thought seriously about taking it. Foretunatley, his attorney who is hellbent on nailing the scumbag, waived most fees and is working the case on just expenses and a small portion of the recovery.

This may then be the case with Ampex. We may win and collect $8M, but it will have cost us over $10M. The payoff for us though will come in the future, as other PIP infringers have to pony up.

Time will only tell, Sal
