L-word? Ohhh.. liberal. I've never been a very good one of those. I'm eclectic, I reckon, a fiscal conservative and a bit of this and a little of that. It depends on the issue and the options. In SF, most my friends were, of course, liberal, healthy vegetarian types. They mostly tolerated my meat-eating, smoking, drinking, and preference for punching someone out to talking about it with good grace. I did dread the Sunday Tofu brunches. And the music.. gads.. I listened to punk and thought if I had to hear one more smaltzy woman's song I'd break the stereo.
