So I see from Zack's that CIEN has book value of $4.50 or so per share. Is that an accurate figure? Has there been any further dilution or other balance sheet shenanigans since last quarter?

Also, is it safe to say that CIEN has no defensible intellectual property? Anyone can make DWDM gear, right? It is not like Qualcomm's hold over CDMA, but DWDM is more along the lines of gigabit switching -- kinda hard to do but nothing inherently proprietary?

Just verifying my due diligence. This looks like a great Mar 99 options play (calls).
