beeb--

oh, it happens. look at where the buying is...and who is making the rec's. EK and GE appeared to be the only ones really propping us up today. my guess is merrill has a lot of index puts out. i hope they choke on them tomorrow...that should really help their financials this q.

it amazes me that EK is as high as it is. fuji is going to clean the floor with them...fisher is an idiot. but of course...they are going to make FPDs...yeah, and so was xerox<G>.

good luck to all,
trey

>WHY?< I don't know, that is why I am asking. The world is falling apart, people are celebrating because a company made earnings that have been lowered 3 quarters in a row while the stock price has doubled and the TA on the fastest climbers is horrible.

One thing I have noticed is they slowed the rate of climb so that we would not over shoot by too much on the upper trendline if this held to Friday morning.

Who knows, I loaded up some more IBMVGs and OEWVTs today and am chasing some MU, CPWR, CSCO and CTXS. UN and CTI are easy ones that are looking really good too. I hate having so many leaders on my list but CPWR has a triple top, UN is breaking down, CSCO should have a post split depression for around 5 points or so and I just dont like the hammer on CTXS after the big gain the day before but I may chicken out on that one. CTI has an ugly looking downward triangle/flag. DELL is tempting me but I want to be sure it isn't going to break through 60 resistance before I get stuck on the wrong side of that line plus it is getting close to earnings time for them again also.

These are all kind of risky in an up market but seeming how they are so high in relation to the beaten up ones, I have to try a few though probably not all. I just hope we don't get some sort of a blow off top that gets us too high first. I think the BK could still be a couple weeks away so I am not in too big a hurry but want to have some puts in my pocket just in case it is an early Christmas. <ggg>

Good Luck,

Lee

Well Beebs, looks like the futures are bringing it home to you this am!!! Last night's Favors reaffirms 8200 as the top, reversal, then a fall. But he says it may take another 4 trading days!
