Quit trying to hide. I don't have much use for either Party. It's Melinda the Recovering Liberal who keeps bringing up Parties. As George Wallace once said, "there ain't a dime's worth of difference between the two." If you read Wallace's post-segregation speeches you find a true populist, Ross Perot without the lunacy. In his later years he won the support of many Alabama blacks. If he had been untainted by the politics of race he could have been an important force in American politics.
