Lawrence,

Wrong Austrian?

Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't it Joseph A. Schumpeter that originally coined the term "creative destruction of capital"? This was the process I was attempting to describe. I was not, of course, referring to Schumpeter's dire prediction of the death of capitalism. Since you share Harvard roots with him, I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Wasn't it also Schumpeter who aspired to be the "the greatest economist, lover and horseman" of all time and felt he only fell short at horsemanship?
