heard the new info they give you including real time quotes is on the cutting edge and dlj clips you on the pennies, sometimes coimmisions are $125, etrade flat 19.00 per trade, heard ndb unlimited buys and sells the same stock the same day only one commision.

waterhouse is funniest one flat fee up to 5000 shares i think, commision like $29, if you buy 5001 shares commision like $80, if you split into one buy of 4900 shares and one buy of 101 shares you pay two @29 commisions total $58, wacky rules as long as you stay 5000 or less one fee, one share over they clip you, heard etrade fills fast as well.

I use NDB because I can place decimal limit orders when I play the penny stocks (.007). NASDAQ/OTC are flat rate for unlimited shares. Trade all you want on the same side/same day for only one broker fee. Been pretty happy so far. You get Zachs and Baseline for free.

They are even listed NYSE:NDB
