In reading our posts....it just goes to show how bad voter judgement has been...when we are searching desperately to find a president in our lifetime that we consider "just pretty good.' Not even great. Remember? We started this by trying to find a statesman. This is getting down-right depressing. Ford: seemed to have outstanding character...wife, too. We didn't give them enough time to evaluate, but my gut says we would have been far better off. I switched parties because of Carter...Dem to Rep....but in retrospect, I think he was good at foreign relations....which is one of the few areas left for a pres to excel. As a moderate...I want a balance. Rep's could never have gotten by with any welfare reform...what little we got had to be proposed by a Dem to have a ghost of a chance... Abortion: Yes...I don't want any G...D...MEN telling me what I can and can't do with my own body. But the disgust...not anger...with BC stems from how well I know OF him..from my friend that tried to match me with him, to cousins in ARK and their stories of his behavior..not just sexual, but Ark level mafia type strong-arm tactics...accepted there as semi-normal...but continued as our "Pres." I told you all this....
