The site is not responding. It has a good address but their server must be down or else extremely slow.

I was comparing the 1990 DOW to ours and having success but don't know if it was a direct overlay or time shifted slightly to line them up. One of the guys in my group noticed it and built the data sheet for me to load into my charts. It was 5 days early on the first leg and has been tracking closely ever since. If it continues, we should start a slow grind down next week then get the faster drop a few weeks out.

Anyway, Good luck. I have to get some sleep before work,

Lee

Yes I've also noted the similarity with 1929 before. However, from the end of the first week of September the two patterns seem to have diverged as we formed a second step or bear flag or whatever. Another move down is certainly possible but we are already part way down the precipitous decline which happenned in 29 with longer breaks on the way down. ie we're not at the endpoint of the graph you showed - that was about 26-27 August I think.
