>>>Sex in the work place is not consensual sex<<<>> Z how can you say that?<<

Sex in the workplace is best characterized as sex in the workplace. I agree that it can also be consensual. It should not be characterized as only consensual. The attempts to characterize the sex between Monika and Bill as only sex between consenting adults is an incomplete characterization IMO.

Consensual sex is a moot point. It is a non issue IMO. Sex in the workplace is an issue. It is the sex in the workplace aspect that merits discussion. I believe the consensual sex argument is an attempt to draw discussion away from the significant issues.

If I am in competition with another in the workplace and the other is having sex in the workplace with someone in a higher position in the same workplace then the sex is also my business. Did all Interns receive the same level of assistance in their job search efforts? Is it possible that Monika benefited from sex in the workplace? Did Bill violate federal guidelines on sex in the workplace? What happens to other federal employees that choose to have sex in the federal workplace with subordinates? Is America about equality?

Do feminists support the idea of giving the boss a BJ in return for a promotion? a bonus? IMO they are supporting the President with blinders on. If the President were not on the preferred list they would find the case for sexual harassment. Their position is political. What I hear is he has done so much for the women's movement will give him a buy on this one as the next guy will most likely not provide the same level of support. This should not be a political debate. My opinion of course.

<<Paula Jones is also a clear case of sexual harassment>>My friend an accusation[and a rather unbelievable one at that] does not amount to a clear case of any thing.<<feminists have lost their credibility on this issue>>To the contrary my friend they have gained in my eyes.If feminists simply support every woman who claims sexual harassment no matter how believable or not you would be the first to criticize.PJ sold her story. She claimed that she became frigid as a result ot this in spite of having three children afterwards. She is not believable.

I characterize it as an opinion rather than an accusation. I claim no expertise and this is all my opinion.

I do not believe everything Paula says. I do believe that Bill exposed himself to her and that it was not consensual. Paula is not the issue, Bill is. Bill has demonstrated his willingness to lie in sexual matters. Many Americans seem to agree that men lie in sexual matters. Many Americans have indicated that this is the norm rather than the exception. Bill has lost his credibility on this issue...I do not believe the President with regards to his statements on sexual matters.

The lies that matter wrt Bill's problems are the lies in court. Bill lied in court in the Paula Jones case. He lied again to the grand jury. The Starr romance novel presents evidence. Some think there is too much evidence in the Starr presentation. Some wish he would have written it another way. The Starr report is not the issue. Bill is the issue. Bill's lawyers do not think there is enough evidence. They maintain Bill did not lie. How much evidence will it take? Should we slow down and gather more evidence? There are some Americans who believe this is a serious offense. They are clearly not a majority. There are many more Americans who do not care. I do not believe the American justice system should be based on polls. The damage is to the American justice system. We should focus on the pertinent issues.

Pezzz....

Said Clinton to young Lewinsky,
We can't leave clues like Kaczyski.
You look such a mess,
Use the hem of your dress,
To wipe that stuff off of your chinsky.

Are you sure you want to get me started???

I'm headed back to check the stock threads and try to get serious! Esp after such a rotten day.
