Friction is not necessarily a bad thing. Clearly, unbridled optimism is not a good thing.

Tony and Skeeter---

I agree with you Skeeter. I've always found Tony to be straitforward, no nonsense, no sentimentality in what he says. And he always outlines the terms and assumptions he's making. Seems clear to me.

Tony, I have long valued this 'good observer' of events in you, and have been postively baffled at the turmoil it causes in the Lake.

I want to reach into cyberspace, and say, no wait a minute, that's not what he meant.

But I don't want to contribute to the ongoing war of meanings at the moment, and just frankly remain perplexed why your assessment is viewed as some kind of conspiracy against progress.

Go figure...

And Henry, Andrew and Bob, I know now that you are all genuinely jammed by what Tony says. I accept that. But remain puzzled at why this problem of differing lakeside views can't be simmered into a better stew.

We are all alright. We all screw up. We all can get better.

Best to all,
Nancy
