Tom, The thing we know for sure is that MU will tout like carnival barkers and at least some portfolio mismanagers will buy a ticket to the Egress. <G>

FWIW, from thestreet.com:

Boise, Idaho, DRAM maker Micron (MU :NYSE) seems to be a company blessed with good timing.

Micron's vice president for corporate affairs, Kipp Bedard, dispensed with a presentation Friday morning and instead took questions from the audience. The biggest question was the state of the DRAM prices in the market. Bedard had great news on this front: In the last week, right in time for the Monty conference, contract prices for Micron's top-tier customers -- i.e., Dell (DELL:Nasdaq) and Compaq (CPQ:Nasdaq) -- have risen. And prices on those accounts are always the last to move, Bedard said.

Bedard also said that inventories are down as demand has picked up. "In the last week of June, the first major retail PC guys came back into the market and from there it continued," he said.

He dispensed with the presentation?

Well, there goes my theory about the laser light show. <g>

Good trading,
