Scamazon is at 79 1/4 right now. I've been watching the ticker and there has been a FLOOD of 100-200 share trades, all at the ask.. There is still a lot of short covering going on, and this will likely continue until tomorrow.. But one day isn't long to wait for this rotten egg to drop..

Hardly anyone holds options on the day of expiration except for real gamblers, so technically TODAY should be the last of the short covering, at least the bulk of it. Remember, all this covering is related to PUTS that people have bought. Since it's nearly impossible to short the actual stock, and LITERALLY impossible to short large amounts (say 10,000 shares) AMZN has had unreal volume in the puts since they are the only game in town. I would suspect that for many investors, this is the first time they've ever traded options.
