I agree that is a good general rule. Every rule has exceptions though

An opinion is not simply worthy of respect because it is an opinion. Some opinions should be respected, especially when they deal with the topic of the thread and provide logic and evidence to support their conclusions. However, you have shown over and over again that your opinions do not meet these criteria and are most often intended to inflame. Therefore, IMO, your opinions deserve little respect.
