I know you're not the way you sounded. I think you're one of the most accomplished and brilliant people around, and why'd you learn all those languages if it was just to pan other cultures? I don't think so!

Yup, often racists/homophobics attitudes are pre-ambled with "some of my best friends are homo, but..."

Me and others found your cultural references quite offensive, and completely off-topic (talk about wasting time), as well as somewhat racist. The fact that your wife is from another country gives you no license to be a jerk.
