Harry, I disagree with you that someone is paying these guys to try to knock the price down in order to ripen it up for acquisition.

I have seen many people trash stocks over the internet and these two guys, even though they are persistent, are not very good. Money can buy a lot better than they can do.

A good stock trasher will make you feel like immediately trading your shares. These guys are just annoying.

Peaceful

that may be true harry........

but i believe that when it comes to buying stocks....that most stock bashers are just plain old "chronic losers".......

they buy high and sell low..........on a consistent basis......then they take out their frustration on anyone who will listen and respond to them.....

it gives them "pleasure"......almost like a sexual climax........when they see they can upset a whole group of people.......

since they won't buy a sure winner in FNTN.........i suggest that someone give them a sure fire guaranteed stock pick that even they can't lose money on......

i believe that once they finally make money on a stock........they will get their "self esteem" back........

i would think by them finally making money they would get the same kind of feeling like when we were all teenagers and still "virgins"......remember the excitement of that first sexual encounter.....after it was over......you were never the same.......you had to have more........your only thought was to do it again......you felt good about yourself........you were a "man".....

yes...... bashers are "virgins" to profits.........but that first encounter with a winner.......and they will get a "climax" like no other they have ever had........and they will want more........their thoughts will turn from bashing to finally putting their time to good use making money.....

DISCLAIMER........this-u is a general-u discription-u of bashers-u .....and doesn't pertain-u to any particular-u individual-u on this-u thread-u

regards

Jeff

Harry: The Internet chat environment is still in its infancy. So is the Internet itself. Unfortunately, among the early masters of any new medium are scam artists, flim-flammers and saboteurs. The World at large always catches on a little too late. Consumer protection laws are pass even later.
For those that don't understand what can happen, there are individuals and crews out there that make their livings as Industrial Saboteurs. I have experienced it in my own business and once had my livlihood threatened by such individuals. In the Stock Market, BBs are prime targets, but not exclusive targets. The saboteur can be a salaried employee, or a hired gun paid per event they orchestrate.. or response they generate. The original perpetrator (the employer of said hatchet) can be the competition or a third party. In stock schemes the third party can be a brokerage cartel or private investor. As an industry, I don't believe that professionals in the Stock Market are any less savory then any other business, including my own.
We all know that crooks and sleaze-bags exist in exalted places as well as the swamps. Just be aware of, and wary of everyone. Personally, like Jim, I guess I'm more disgusted by the snake in the grass than the snake salesman. The one in the grass is more elusive, and sometimes hide under rocks the size of cliffs.
