OT Quick Trades and one of these days I might decide to make one of those real. Just a quickie,
I was doing that this summer, It was lot's of fun and was actually profitable, until the end of August. Suddenly a lot of stocks that I was flipping for a point were all down a couple of points. The trades were in an IRA account so I can't add cash until next year, so I now have some quality stocks like RAMBUS, LEVEL3, and CSCO which seem to hover just below the point where I bought them and I hate to sell a good stock at a loss so I'm back to "hypothetical" trades at the moment. I get tempted to take my lumps just so I can play the game again, but I wouldn't bet the farm on my daytrading skills.
